• Presiding role
  • Overseeing proper conduct in court
• Adjudicating role
  • Create a legal decision based on the claim, and defense of disputants.
  • The jury decides, the judge gives the consequence.
• Interpretative role
  • Interpret both sides.
  • Interpret based on the charter of rights and freedoms.
• Judges are able to look at laws and see if they fit with the charter.
