• Medulla Oblongata causes release of Noradrenaline

• Noradrenaline increases rate of fire for sinoatrial node

• When exercise stops, receptors sense high Blood Pressure

• Receptors in the Blood Vessels then send a signal to the Central Nervous System, which then releases Acetyocholine to slow down the heart rate>

  • This reduces the rate of fire of the sinoatrial node
